En we starten bij de vertrekplaats, de Macau Outer Harbour Terminal.

Tijdens deze reisperiode verbleef ik op Macau Island in plaats van in de regio Taipa, cotai.
Het was relatief dichtbij de luchthaven, de hotelprijzen waren lager en het was leuker omdat ik meer kon zien van hoe de mensen van Macau leven.
Er waren ook gratis shuttles van casino's/hotels in de regio Taipa, cotai vanaf de Outer Harbour Terminal, dus ik kon ze gemakkelijk gebruiken.

Er is ook een park in de buurt van de Outer Terminal dat goed is om in te wandelen.
