Reece Yeboah: fashion designer

COS × YEBOAH main logo

A few weeks ago, I saw a unique eco-bag design on the subway. 'Helping Others' slogan impressive me. First, I thought about a cool NGO logo. But I read the COS letter in the middle of the logo, searched on Google, and found it!

COS AND YEBOAH ANNOUNCE LIMITED-EDITION COLLECTION METAMORPHOSIS

COS and emerging designer Reece Yeboah join forces to launch his namesake brand YEBOAH with an exciting new collaboration, Metamorphosis. The collection developed with COS represents Yeboah's evolution, merging each brand’s unique creative language and returns to designs hatched from formative experiences in founder Reece Yeboah’s life. Combining street-luxe wear with contemporary tailoring, a bespoke approach to design results in a unique collection that combines function with style.

REECE YEBOAH’S METAMORPHOSIS

‘NEVER GIVE UP. WHEN YOU MANAGE TO KEEP GOING AND TURN THINGS AROUND, EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE AT ROCK BOTTOM, THAT'S EVERYTHING.’

As he launches a capsule collection with COS, Reece Yeboah discusses community, heritage and never giving up.

Yeboah! Please come to Seoul! I hope to meet at my city :)

CORE VALUES

The stardom concept is one that Reece thought of whilst researching the true meaning of "stars", particularly the black star involved in the Ghanaian flag.

The three stars represent the three children Reece's mother gave birth to including the struggle, trials and tribulations each one of his siblings went through including him.

Yeboah: A Phoenix from the Ashes

I wanted to challenge myself and do something that wasn't attached to statistical stereotypes

It is a story of life. It gave everything I was doing meaning and a sense of purpose to it.
