Rejina Pyo On Her “Modern, Confident And Effortlessly Wearable” High-Street Collaboration With John Lewis

Rejina Pyo has scored several big-hitting collaborations in recent years. Her latest link-up – a 35-piece collection with high-street juggernaut, John Lewis – is a capsule wardrobe imbued with her unique charm. Pyo’s signature is all about tweaks on classic silhouettes, such as a trench coat with an exaggerated belt and lapels, or a shirt with statement buttons.
Created with both city and country dwellers in mind, the release is comprised of foundational staples that promise to work hard during the autumn/winter season. Tailoring, loose-fitting denim and knitwear take centre stage and are realised in a versatile colour palette of beige, tan, blue, burgundy and earthy tones. The hero piece, a buttery soft leather trench coat – an unexpected fabrication that is only noticeable upon a closer look – is the only teaser that customers are given ahead of the collection launch on 9 October.
True to form, footwear and bags are a standout – including slouchy shoulder bags in patent and smooth leather, riding boots and buckled low heels – all of which were inspired by one of Pyo’s vintage belts from her personal collection.
